Yesterday, I met a 70-year-old woman diagnosed with *Motor Neuron Disease (MND)* —
a degenerative disorder that weakens the body's ability to move, speak, and even swallow.
She had:
🧠 Bulbar onset symptoms (difficulty in speaking and swallowing)
🥣 A feeding tube (PEG) inserted recently
And yet…
She entered my clinic *smiling.*
Her daughter and son-in-law stood beside her — *beaming with positivity.*
They knew the truth.
They knew the prognosis.
They knew time was limited.
But *they chose joy.*
They chose love.
They chose life.
